According to the US Coast Guard, the five persons aboard the missing Titanic submarine in the Atlantic Ocean have only 15 hours of oxygen left.
Rescuers are in a race against time to find the tiny Titan submarine with five people on board, which went missing during a dive to view the centuries-old remains of the Titanic, as minutes tick by as they risk running out of oxygen in board.
US Coast Guard Capt. Jamie Frederick said that during the search, a continuous noise was heard every 30 minutes, which has raised hopes of finding the submarine that was used for tourist purposes.

However, so far the submersible has not been located.
A French research vessel equipped with a robot that can dive to great depths is headed to the area at the request of the US Navy.
According to the American Coast Guard, the submarine “Titan“, produced by the American company “OceanGate Expeditions”, sank at 8 am on Sunday.
The small submarine lost contact with its companion ship after nearly two hours of diving toward the Titanic.
Inside the submarine, there was oxygen for 96 hours for the 5 people on board and according to calculations the amount of oxygen was enough until Thursday morning.
On board the submarine is the French explorer Paul-Henri Nargeolet, a former naval officer Stockton Rush, founder and chief executive of the company ‘OceanGate Expeditions’, British billionaire Hamish Harding as well as a businessman of Pakistani origin Shahzada Dawood and his son 19- year old Suleman Dawood.
The trip to see the remains of the Titanic cost 250 thousand dollars per person.
