Oceangate still advertising ‘Titanic wreck tours’

The scandal-plagued exploration business has announced that it would cease operations “indefinitely” after five billionaires were killed when their submarine self-exploded en route to the Titanic disaster.

However, the proprietors of OceanGate appear to be still offering pricey visits to the Titanic’s ruin on their website 10 days after the’sensational’ catastrophe, as the Independent reports.

According to their website, the underwater exploration business planned two expeditions to the Titanic wreck next year, from June 12 to 20, as well as from June 21 to 29, each priced at $250,000, including diving charges.

According to the firm, on the first day, passengers arrive at St. John to meet the staff and become acquainted with the dive equipment.

“This will take you to the RMS Titanic wreckage.” You will become acquainted with life on board the ship before embarking on the 400-nautical-mile trek to the wreck.”

However, these trips have now been halted “indefinitely” after the company’s Stockton Rush director, British millionaire Hamish Harding, French diving expert Paul-Henri Nargeolet, and Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his teenage son Suleman were killed when the submarine allegedly self-exploded during its underwater journey.

However, the firm was also offering a position as a co-pilot, according to the Independent, as the hunt for the victims of the trip continues.

Following internet outcry, the notice was later withdrawn.

According to rumors, fragments of the submarine’s wreckage have been discovered in eastern Canadian seas, around 700 meters from the Titanic debris.
