In view of the unrest generally linked to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and other causes, Kishida is anticipated to urge for steps to calm the world’s oil markets.
The prime minister is also anticipated to pledge Japan’s assistance in assisting nations that produce oil in their transition to renewable energy.
An agreement to transfer defense technology and equipment was inked last month between Japan and the United Arab Emirates.
Kishida wants to make it official that there would be more security-related collaboration between the two nations.
The G20 includes Saudi Arabia as a member.
Prior to the summit of the group in September, Kishida intends to discuss ideas with the president of the nation.
