Heavy Russian shelling in Ukraine’s southern Zaporizhzhia region has killed at least one person and injured two more.
Yurii Malashko, the governor of the area, confirmed the news in a Telegram post.
“A 51-year-old man was killed by shelling in the village of Mala Tokmachka, southeast of Zaporizhzhia.”
In the adjoining village of Preobrazhenka, a 40-year-old lady and a 39-year-old man were also injured.
“The injured are receiving medical attention, and their lives are no longer in danger,” he added.
