Three persons were murdered in the Ukrainian seaside city of Odesa, as well as three more in the Donetsk area, as a consequence of a nighttime Russian air attack.
Ukrainian officials confirmed the news on Wednesday.
The three Odesa victims were in a food warehouse when the attack occurred, which also destroyed a commercial facility, an educational institution, and a residential complex.
According to Donetsk regional governor Pavlo Kyrylenko, two persons were killed in Kramatorsk and one in the industrial city of Kostiantynivka.
“The rockets hit houses in Kramatorsk, causing significant damage.” At least five residences were destroyed, and another twenty-five were damaged.
“Two houses were destroyed and 55 were damaged in Kostiantynivka,” he stated.
Ukraine’s air force claimed to have destroyed three Russian missiles and nine drones.
The Ukrainian prosecutor’s office said four forest workers and two other civilians were slain in the northern Sumy area after a gun attack on the car they were riding in.
The incident occurred on Tuesday in a woodland near the Russian border.
The reports could not be independently verified by Reuters.
Moscow has yet to make a statement.
Both Russia and Ukraine dispute that their military actions target people.
