Former US President Donald Trump claims that if he had remained in office, Vladimir Putin would not have invaded Ukraine.
He also claimed to have “postponed” the Russian invasion by many years after warning Russian President Vladimir Putin, “Don’t do it.”
Trump allegedly made the remarks during an interview with Fox News in the United States.
“I have a great relationship with Putin.”
“I mean, I haven’t talked to him in a long time,” Trump was quoted as adding.
Otherwise, as the media recalls, he had said that he would have completed the war in 24 hours.
“Look, I talked to him,” Trump continued.
I warned him that doing so would be a disaster. Don’t do it.”
