EU: 11 countries have now reintroduced border controls amid repeated alarms across European cities and after official notifications reached the EC
Italy, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway are those who have reimposed checks on their borders.
Italy said police alone are “not adequate to guarantee the required security,” while Slovenia said that measures are “friendly towards our citizens.”
