After the luxury apartment that once belonged to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky was auctioned off for 44.3 million rubles, or $478,634, the speaker of the Crimea parliament said that the money would go to support Russian servicemen as well as the development of the region.
The property totals around 1,286 square feet and is in the Black Sea resort city of Yalta. Local authorities nationalized it following the start of the Russia/Ukraine conflict.
