The buildings of the German public broadcaster ZDF in Mainz were evacuated for a while on Monday morning after a bomb threat. In the meantime, everything has been declared safe and people have been able to return to their offices.
GERMANY, Oct 23 (Telegraph News) – According to the police, the bomb threat was received at the police station around 8:20 a.m.
“To ensure the safety of staff and other persons on site, several buildings on site were evacuated.”
The building was searched with explosives dogs, but nothing was found.
About 600 people had to leave the buildings, but have since been able to return, ZDF itself reports.
