Copenhagen, a 37-year-old man has been killed in the Danish capital in what police confirmed to be a non-gang-related shooting
When asked for a possible motive, Copenhagen Police told Ekstra Bladet that they had āno ideaā other than it had nothing to do with the Hells Angels shootings taking hold.
The suspect is still at large and a manhunt is underway.
He apparently fired 3 times into the back of the victimās head, according to eyewitnesses.
Updated: The man has passed away. The police announced this in a press release at 8 p.m.
The police are massively present on Vesterbro in Copenhagen after a person has been shot.
This is confirmed by the head of duty at the Copenhagen Police, Jesper Bangsgaard, to Ekstra Bladet.
– The person has been shot, possibly in the head, says the warden.
The shooting incident took place on Nyropsgade around Herholdtsgade close to Bremen Theater and Vesterport Station. The entire area is cordoned off.

No arrests have yet been made, so the perpetrator is still at large, says the warden, who will not say anything about the condition of the shooting victim.
The Copenhagen Police stated that the perpetrator was wearing an orange jacket and a blue bag in which food was brought out. The person left the scene on a scooter.
– Are you investigating this as part of the rocker/gang conflict?
– We can’t say anything about that yet, says Jesper Bangsgaard.
There is currently a helicopter in the air over Vesterbro. In addition, a witness tells Ekstra Bladet that a KST vehicle (mobile command center, ed.) has been driven towards Nyropsgade.
A witness who saw the episode tells Ekstra Bladet at the scene that the perpetrator was carrying a light blue Wolt bag and riding a scooter.
He drove up close behind the victim and fired shots at the back of his head. As he fell to the ground, he fired three more times.
– It was a pure liquidation, says the shocked eyewitness.
Copenhagen Police has no further comments at present.
It is not possible to pick up cars
On social media X, the Copenhagen Police wrote shortly before 6.45 pm that due to the extensive cordon, it is currently not possible to pick up parked cars.
This applies to cars on Herholdtsgade between Vester SĆøgade and Vester Farimagsgade and on Nyropsgade between Kampmannsgade and Gl. Kongevej
‘We ask for your understanding that the investigators are still in full swing at the scene. We will report here as soon as it is possible to pick up vehicles again,’ writes the police district.
‘We ask everyone to respect the police’s instructions.’
