The Vox party has tabled a proposal to stop granting citizenship and residence permits to people from “Islamic culture” and to “ban the entry into Spain of immigrants from countries with an Islamic culture if their correct and peaceful integration cannot be guaranteed”
Announcing the proposal, party leader Santiago Abascal said that the Brussels attack in which 2 Swedes were killed was clearly caused by the “open-door policy pursued in a large part of Europe.”
“We must defeat them, yes, all the friends who bring hatred, pain, and death. And if possible, they must be defeated before they kill a single innocent person,” Abascal wrote on X.
